2. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server managed by us. When a page is requested, the web server automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser.

This data is used solely for the secure and reliable operation of the website and for troubleshooting, and is not combined with other data sources.

3. Contact form

When you use the contact form, we process the details you enter there. The enquiry is stored on our server and forwarded to us by email; you also receive an automatic confirmation to the email address you provided.

We use Microsoft 365 to send email. The data is used solely to process your enquiry and for the subsequent communication.

The form contains an invisible field to protect against automated spam. It is not filled in by real visitors and does not store any data.

4. Email and phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you share in order to handle your request. Please note that unencrypted email can be read by third parties in transit.

5. Free website check

For the website check you enter the address of a website. Our server then requests that website, renders it in an automated browser and evaluates technology, structure and presentation. The operator of the checked website sees the request from our server, not your IP address.

For each check we store the address entered, the time, the overall result and a pseudonymous identifier derived from your IP address using a one-way hash. Your IP address cannot be reconstructed from this identifier. It is used solely to detect misuse of the service.

Screenshots created during the check are processed in memory only and are not stored permanently.

Please only check websites you own or are authorised to check.

6. AI-assisted evaluation in the website check

For the visual evaluation in the website check, screenshots of the checked website and technical metrics derived from them are transmitted to Google's Gemini API and evaluated there. Only data about the checked website is transmitted, no information about you.

7. Cookies, local storage and fonts

No cookies are set and no data is stored in your browser during a normal visit to this website. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used.

The fonts used are served directly from our server. No connections to Google Fonts or other third parties are made when a page loads.

A single technical cookie is set only in the protected administration area of the website, which is used exclusively by us.

8. Sharing of data

We do not share personal data with third parties, except:

• with technical service providers required to operate the website and send email (hosting, email service)
• where necessary to fulfil an order
• where there is a legal obligation

9. Retention

We keep contact enquiries for as long as required to process them and for any resulting collaboration. Server log files and website check entries are regularly deleted or overwritten once they are no longer needed for operation.

10. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection you have in particular the right to:

• request information about the data stored about you
• request the correction of inaccurate data
• request the deletion of your data, unless a retention obligation applies
• object to processing

11. Security

Transmission between your browser and our website is encrypted via HTTPS. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

12. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the technology of the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
